So, I think I’m ready with the second Hospital Bag. I posted a while ago my hospital bag with all the essentials I packed for myself and the whole labor.

Now I also prepared a small bag only for Baby Peanut. I put in there all the stuff we might need after he’s born since I’ll be staying around 3 days in the hospital.

Also, one of these outfits will be his “COMMING HOME’” outfit, which I’m extreamly excited about :)

Swollen feet and hands that’s lately a new thing that turned up.
It started about a week ago that my hands were swelling up, now it’s also my feet and face. I must say, I feel like gozilla :P

Do you guys have any advice on what to do to get rid of the swelling? So far I tried to put my legs higher up, like I put them on bazillion pillows when I’m in bed, I also put them in the shower and ran colder water over them but still, nothing seems to work.

I had to take off my wedding ring&engement ring as well cause my fingers became so swollen. Now I wear them on my silver necklace around my neck :)

Also my fingers hurt in the morning, when i wake up and try to pick up my phone I can barely sqeez my hand, has anyone of you experienced smth similar?

Breastfeeding 101

I’ve been going to my local maternity school for quiet a while now and tomorrow is my last meeting. I must say it was a great idea to join this classes cause I can honestly say I’m way more informed than I was before. I’ll still probably panic and don’t know all the answers but nature will surely guide me in this new journey.

Today we had 2 hours classes about Breastfeeding, I must admit I’m quiet terrified when it comes to this topic. I guess my biggest fear is not to be able to breastfeed, or not tknowing when the baby is well fed etc. But it’s good to know what are the good & bad sides of Breastfeeding.

Obviously I can’t write down everything we talked about today, but I found a nice page online, which basically answers a lot of questions.

Here’s a link : CLICK

I will try my best to breastfeed baby Peanut, so let’s cross our fingers for it to work out :)

Peanut got his first Blanket from Mommy & Daddy :)

I am really in love with this blanket, it’s super soft and the colours are perfect! I think I’ll purchase another one in white/grey as well!

It’s only 38 days left until his arrival so I’m more and more excited.. if that is even possible! My hormones go crazy and I put his first clothes which I picked for the hospital stay in the washing machine about an hour ago. I think tomorrow I’ll pack his hospital bag :D

What’s in my Hospital Bag :)

So far I’ve packed few things … I still need to get slippers and Maternity Pads, but I guess the rest is pretty much packed!

This is the Bag for the hospital stay, I’m also preparing another one for Baby Peanut where I’ll put all his clothes, blankets and cosmetics in + my clothes for the day we’ll be able to leave the hospital.

If you think I still need something or that I maybe forgot something crucial message me please ! :D

Got super tiny onsies for baby Peanut’s hospital stay :)

So far according to the doctor Baby Peanut is really a “peanut”;  he’s a bit too small, which makes it already pretty clear that he’ll be born quiet small.

I went shopping to look for really tiny clothes and that’s what I found :) I suppose he’ll leave the hospital in one of those. The size is called “newborn” or “tiny baby” it’s not even 0-3 haha ^___^

I hope those will fit him and I can’t wait to see him wearing those !
